Spring has finally sprung in

the Lake George Region!

With our temperatures on the rise, the snow levels falling and the ice beginning to melt, the Lake George Region is starting to come alive from it's wintry sleep.

April 1st welcomed the opening of Trout Season in New York State! According to one local reporter; "When ice-out occurs it usually provides some of the best fishing of the season". Remember that a license is required to fish and can be purchased at a variety of local businesses.

With the spring snow melt the rivers will start to rise. That will bring us right into the Whitewater Rafting Season! We can recommend a number of rafting companies who will assist you with this adventurous activity!
