It's never to early to start planning for our 'warmer' weather fun activities and events here in the Lake George Region. Considering it was about 10 degrees outside my back door this morning envisioning a warm sunny day sailing on the lake is even more inviting.
We have had a request posted on the blog for Elvis Fest information. I am happy to oblige as the event group is a member of our chamber so we always have up to date info and closer to the event we will have programs, etc. in our office.

Hi and thanks for the info on Elvis - I can't wait to say Aloha!
Before that, we plan on visiting the winter carnival - is the lake frozen or will it just be off lake events? I wish you had a webcam so we could enjoy seeing Lake George whenever we want to we'll keep looking for one!
Oh, I forgot, I've alerted my Lake George buddies to the blog - hope you hear from some of them soon!
The southern basin of the lake froze over last week. i think that most events will happen on the ice this weekend. There is one event that did get moved to Warren County Floyd Bennett Airport for an upcoming weekend. You may want to check out the website for the carnival at:

PS: thanks for telling people about the blog. i was starting to feel very alone out here in cyberspace.
