Is it Spring yet?

The calendar says it's Spring in the Lake George Region but Old Man Winter is still with us!

This weekend should bring us colder that seasonal temperatures with some nights down in the teens! This is perfect for the sport of Ice Fishing! Remember that a license is required to fish in the Lake George Region and can be purchased at a variety of our local businesses. Ice conditions can change daily! Know your conditions! Good luck to all of our anglers and above all, be safe out there!

The Southern Warren County Snowmobile Association reports that their trails are CLOSED! The gates are in the process of being shut and locked. They wish to thank all of the riders for a fantastic season and they are already looking forward to next year!

There is still lots of time for Spring Skiing in the Lake George Region! West Mountain Ski Area and Gore Mountain are still in full operation! What a great time to sit on their decks to enjoy the Spring Sunshine! And Whiteface Mountain at Olympic Lake Placid is just a day trip away!

With Easter less than four weeks away it's never too soon to start planning your spring or summer trip to the Lake George Region! Spring is a great time to experience Whitewater Rafting! Call us if you need assistance in finding a rafting company for your trip. Spring also brings Americade! If you need help finding lodging, give us a call!
